film festival funn!

went to the opening night of ann arbor film festival. always good times. i like opening night because i get to see friends and teachers i don't see very often. then when the show starts i get to see a lot of the good stuff without having to sit through all the bad stuff. not that it's all bad. that is just my opinion. but after watching three hours of experimental film, it can go down hill.

taking the subway alone is exciting and aggravating all at once.

went to the opera with ryans friends danny and irna. after walking through the park we met up with russians on the rooftop of a friends apartment building and drank beer. two of the russians look like edward scissorhands. i like them.

i managed to make it downtown (alone and on time) to the bumble and bumble hair school for my radical free haircut, and then to the park with my coffee and my book and my sandwich. i spotted more than a few excellent bands, and super cool dudes shooting scenes for their 'movie'. everyone is happy and nice because the sun is shining and its warm out.

overall very relaxing.
